Children’s Book Fair in Bologna is the most important international trade fair for children's literature. The Illustrators Exhibition shows the most innovative trends in children's book illustration worldwide. It was started in 1967 and since then has offered artists from around the world a unique opportunity to display their talent to key players in the children's book industry. An international jury of publishers, artists and museum directors selects established artists and emerging talents. Last year, 2967 artists applied from all over the world and only 76 illustrators were selected.

The illustrations from, among others, The Girl From Far Away were shown at Höganäs Museum (1 November to December 30, 2014) and at BA.BO.KO’s group exhibition in the Old Town of Stockholm (22 to 27 November 2014).
